In this melting pot, we dare not shy away from heated conversations. We invite them, knowing and trusting in the process of alchemy in this sacred vessel, where an array of life experiences and a spectrum of identities can be celebrated and held. Born out of conflict, Crucible serves to heal, highlighting the voices of many unheard and swiftly growing toward a new way of representing the life and work of women/womxn/non-binary Black, Brown, Indigenous, Global South People, and Global South LGBTQQIP2SA+.

Crucible was conceived amid the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic during an Instagram Live chat between Roxanne Simone and Finchittida Finch on 'Blackness, Embodiment & Rising in Greatness'.
